COVID-19 What You Need To Know

We are dedicated to providing excellent health care for your family pets and livestock. During this Coronavirus pandemic, we are planning to continue being here for your veterinary service. There are some steps that we are taking to ensure the safety of our veterinary team, clients and patients.

1. Any employee who has any symptoms will be staying home from work and getting tested for coronavirus when appropriate.

2. We are working hard to continue good sanitation and disinfection protocols within our building

3. We are being very diligent about routine hand washing for all employees and also our clients.

4. We ask any person who has concerns about entering our building or who may be exposed or carrying the virus to call us before coming into building. We can assist you by coming to your vehicle and helping with your animal or delivering pet medications/ foods to your vehicle.

5. We have an online pharmacy for your pets needs. They will deliver to your home so you can continue your pets medicines, foods, heartworm and flea & tick preventives without having to pick up at the clinic.

Please note: we will be closed Monday, July 4th in observance of Independence day.

Veterinary Technician – Lewiston & Eyota Veterinary Clinic

Job Type: Full-time

Description

Come join our team at Lewiston Veterinary Clinic and Eyota Veterinary Clinic. We are looking for friendly, compassionate, dedicated veterinary technician to work at our 2 clinics with our team of 6 doctors and approximately 20 staff members. We strive to provide the highest level of veterinary care to our patients. As part of our total pet care philosophy, we are proud to offer digital radiographs, dental radiographs, small animal surgeries including orthopedics, and complete in-house laboratory for our patients. At Lewiston Veterinary Clinic veterinary technicians will have the opportunity to work with large animal clients including dairy, beef, and small ruminants; and at Eyota Veterinary Clinic veterinary technicians will have the opportunity to work small animal clients.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience working as Veterinary Technician or Assistant
  • Must be certified/licensed
  • Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
  • Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Available to work Saturdays
